N.Ireland founded 1992 - first Society bottling in 2002Launched in 1996, and produced at distillery number 117, this is Ireland's only peated single malt whiskey. It is named after a picturesque region in County Galway on the other side of the country from the distillery itself. The proprietary bottling won two gold medals at the 1996 International Wine and Spirit Competition, and another gold in 2000 for the cask strength version.
