Speyside (Lossie) founded in 1971 - first Society bottling in 1989A large (six stills) modern complex, built by DCL adjacent to their distillery at Glenlossie (which is rated Top Class) and it is licensed to John Haig & Co. It draws its water from the Mannoch Hills but never made the top class grade, and was mothballed in 1985. Re-opened in 1989, it was, for a while, responsible for the now collectable oddity Loch Dhu The Black Whisky.
