Speyside (Spey) founded in 1974 - first Society bottling in 1991Built by International Distillers & Vintners between Keith and Aberlour, with eight stills. The building won several architectural awards, and the malt several trophies when it first appeared as a single in the early 1990s, including gold medals from the International Wine & Spirits Awards in 1992 and 1995. The proprietary bottling is a vatting of malts matured in sherry wood with those matured in ex-bourbon wood, and has a different name from the distillery.
