The Vaults, Leith
The 18th Century Vaults in Leith, just back from the quayside in the old port, is the traditional, much-loved home of the Society.
The Vaults Members' Room is situated in one of Scotland's oldest commercial buildings, where there's a unique and tangible atmosphere of repose over the jostle and clamour of trade.
Leith today is a bustling quarter: a mix of old and new with a colourful street life; a sought after place to live and a gourmet's haven. It has an ambience that the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and its members feel very much at home in. For we too enjoy a mix of old and new in our members.
