The Vaults, Leith
The 18th Century Vaults, just back from the quayside in the old port, is the traditional, much-loved home of the Society.
The Members' Room is situated in one of Scotland's oldest commercial buildings, where there's a unique almost tangible atmosphere of repose over the jostle and clamour of trade.
Leith today is a bustling quarter: a mix of old and new with a colourful street life; a sought after place to live and a gourmet's haven. it has an ambience that the Society and its members feel very much at home in. For we too enjoy a mix of old and new in our members.

Members’ Rooms Offers in May
Now that Spring has finally arrived we have created some exciting New Menus in our Members' Rooms. To celebrate, for the whole month of May, we offer* you a free side order in our venues with every 2 main courses selected from our fantastic menus. More than that, you also receive a free dram to go with your meal, or a tea or coffee after.
How many more reasons do you need to visit us this May?
*Offer is available in all three UK members' rooms, lunch time only until 4pm daily. One side order with every two main dishes, one dram, tea or coffee per person per visit. Usual 3 guests per member, per visit applies. No limit to amount of visits.
