- A wonderfully creamy and mouth-filling entry redolent with light, fresh flowers of nougat and white nectarines. The mid-palate has lovely weight with generous flavours which extend to a lingering and fresh finish.

- The nose is lively, expressive and dominated by the scent of wild strawberries. The taste is full-bodied, zestful with assertive fruitiness.

- Intense and pleasant fragrance with fruit and brioche notes. Well balanced and splendidly fresh to taste with a remarkably fruity structure.

- The bouquet is generous and concentrated. In the mouth, the wine is rounded and full-bodied. The presence of Chardonnay gives the finish a fresh, pure touch. The wine ends with notes of caramelised citrus fruits, dried apricots and honey. This vintage expresses the Veuve Clicquot style superbly and is a wine that is ideally suited to food.

- It reveals tremendous aromatic intensity, offering hints of bread dough, Wheat Thins, tropical fruits, and roasted hazelnuts. Medium to full-bodied, with crisp acidity buttressing the wines wealth of fruit and intensity, it comes across as extraordinarily zesty, well-delineated, and incredibly long on the palate.
ROSE WINE

- An extra fruity and aromatic rosé redolent of raspberry, strawberry and peaches on the nose. The palate is light and refreshing with good balance and a crisp finish.
SWEET WINE
- 65 Tokaji, Domaine de Disznoko, 4 Puttonyos (Hungary) 2001 £28.50 50cl
- This wine is golden amber in colour with a nose which is characterised by hints of peach, vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Its softness and lasting taste are the main features on the palate.
- 66 Recioto della Valpolicella DOC (Italy) 2001 £49.00 50cl
- Immensely concentrated, full bodied and sweet, similar to top vintage Port with just a little more elegance. Superb with cheese.
WHITE WINE
- 01 Grenache Blanc, Cuvée Valonnée (France) 2005 £15.00
- This wine has a soft voluptuous 'Viognier' character of melons, lemons and lychees with an excellent length of flavour, crisp yet rounded, full yet elegant.
- 07 Pinot Blanc, Domaine Hugel (France) 2004 £22.50
- A wonderful white, reminiscent of ripe, juicy melons with a hint of spice. It shows refreshing acidity. A perfect all-rounder.
- 11 Cotes du Rhone Blanc, SAJ Vidal-Fleury (France) 2006 £24.00
- This 100% Viognier has a delightfully rounded floral nose with some alcohol evident. The palate is soft and rich with good varietal character.
- 14 Sauvignon blanc, Lawson&'s Dry Hills, Marlborough (NZ) 2006 £25.00
- Pleasantly pungent with passionfruit and lime dominating the nose with hints of barrel ferment detectable. Concentrated gooseberry, lime zest, passionfruit and red capsicum flavours are balanced with good palate weight and a clean crisp finish.
- 17 Gewürztraminer, Lawson's Dry Hills, Marlborough (NZ) 2005 £27.00
- Few New Zealand estates produce noteworthy Gewürztraminer. One of the exceptions is Lawson's Dry Hills who defy the odds to regularly turn out deliciously vibrant, lychee and rose-scented wine. This is one of them!

- Full with gooseberries and a touch of smoke on the nose - apple palate and more fresh gooseberries. Great with shellfish, fish in sauce and white meats.

- This is soft yellow in colour with crisp acidity. The wine offers grapefruit, lime, spice and mineral notes. On the palate you find fresh citrus, honey, spices, minerals and even a hint of herbal tea. Overall this is beautifully balanced with good length.

- Les Clous is a renowned Premier Cru, with a relatively high proportion of limestone in the soil. Nice and rich with white peach fruit flavours and nuances of toasty oak.

- Delicate fragrant citrus blossom, lime juice and zesty with a good intensity and persistence backed up by great concentration with a crisp acidity and a long finish.

- Made from Marsanne grapes, it shows exuberant, assertive aromas of dried pear, ripe apple and vibrant minerals. Rich verging on unctuous, characterized by supple orchard fruit flavours. Full, thick and weighty on the finish.

- Puligny from this area exhibits power, richness and good weight. Its name, Enseignères, originates from the presence of oak trees, which have long been replaced by the vines.
RED WINE

- A blend with 70% Merlot grapes, it offers classic Claret scents and flavours. The wine has a lovely deep purple colour, offers ripe bramble, spice and cedar on the nose and a lovely soft, black fruited, balanced finish.
- 33 Carmènere Reserva, Chocolan (Chile) 2006 £20.50
- These vineyards are situated in the Maipo Valley, between the Andes and the Coastal Mountain range and made mainly by using Chile's most expressive grape variety, Carmènere. The wine has an intense nose of black fruit, bitter chocolate and dry tobacco. A good structure and body in the mouth, with powerful, smooth tannins and a long finish.

- Aged in oak casks, this fine wine has a vibrant colour and a complex abundance of strawberry, cherry and dark berry fruit.

- Mature blackberry and blueberry flavours together with sweet, toasty notes. A perfect union of fruit and wood, it is an elegant and structured wine with a good finish.

- An elegant blend, with merlot adding softness to the firmer Cabernet. The fine tannin backbone is supported by concentrated berry fruits and vanillin oak, resulting in a satisfying, mellow red wine.

- Attractive bright ruby colour, with aromas of tart red berries and a spicy final note on the nose. It presents a supple rich attack in the mouth with final liquorice notes.

- Beautiful deep crimson colour. Powerful aromas of blackberries, spice and a hint of toasty oak. On the palate, it is a big, weighty but beautifully balanced wine, delivering an exceptional array of flavours.
- 50 Grand Reserve, Delheim (RSA) 2003 £34.00
- This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby colour and a promising nose. It combines well with layers of fruit enhanced by careful maturing in French barrels. Hints of cassis, violets and soft berries on the palate with rich vanilla and coffee on the finish.

- This wine is made at an entirely bio-dynamic farm at one of the most picturesque vineyards in the Veneto region of Italy. A great wine with huge fruit. Blackberries, stewed figs, spice and herbs with a nicely concentrated palate and a lovely expansive finish.
