A lightly solventy, Speyside nose, with baked bananas and marmalade and freshly made toffee apples with a dod of vanilla ice cream. At full strength the taste is sweetish – hot caramel sauce, vanilla – with dark rum and cooked peaches. The latter come through, with cream, when water is added, then give way to unbaked pear crumble dusted with desiccated coconut. Smooth and sweet to taste, with a hint of orange and more coconut.
