Indulge in SMWS Snuggles

The Society’s new partnership with the Hotel du Vin and Malmaison Group got off to a flying start with the launch of the first of thethree venues at Aberdeen’s Malmaison Hotel on 22 January.
Local members and invited guests attended a whisky dinner as part of the celebrations hosted by Society ambassador Olaf Meier. This was followed by launch receptions at the Hotel du Vin in Birmingham on 29 January and at the Hotel du Vin in Brighton on 5 February.
Society ambassadors were on hand over the following weeks to meet members and discuss drams. Each hotel boasts a substantial range of Society single cask, single malts which members can enjoy in the luxurious surroundings of specially created Society ‘Snuggles’. A selection from each ‘First Friday’ release will see its way onto the bar every month and a programme of events at the hotels will provide members with further reasons to make regular visits.
Paul Miles, managing director of the Society, said: “This is a great opportunity for members to go out and enjoy Society bottlings in a recognisably Society environment. I would like encourage all those members who can to get out and support their Snuggle!”
