How do I log in to the website?
Once you have activated you membership to become a fully-fledged member, you can log in to discover even more about the Society. How you enter your details differs slightly depending on how long you’ve been a member.

Membership number
When entering your membership number, the website does not recognise letters, eg UK or JT so there is no need to enter them. If your membership number begins with a 0, ignore that as well. If your membership number is greater than 500000 you need to enter a double zero at the start of your number to give you 8 digits in total.

Brand new members automatically have their passwords set to their postcode. Please enter this in capital letters without any spacing ie. AB123CD. If your membership was a gift, someone else may well have given you a password so just give us call if you would like it reset.

Help! I have forgotten my membership number!
Don’t worry, just give us a call (0131 555 2929, Mon-Fri 9am-4.45pm) and we’ll ask you for some other details so as we can locate your number.

Can I have my order delivered to another address?
Yes, for example your work or a friend’s address, as long as it’s in the UK.

Can I place an order over the phone and then collect the bottle from one of the Venues?
Unfortunately not. We receive hundreds of orders every week and the Venues simply do not have the space to store them.

When will my parcel arrive?
Our courier delivers between 9.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays, usually within a few days of ordering. During busy periods though, please allow up to 14 days for delivery.

But I’m at work between 9.00am and 5.00pm!
We can also arrange for a Saturday delivery, although there is an extra charge.

Can I send a bottle abroad?
Unfortunately the Society does not have a license to deliver bottles overseas. Of course we are happy to deliver to a UK address, where someone can arrange to forward the parcel on.

I have not received my tickets for an Event
That’s because we don’t issue them! Just arrive at the venue with your membership card and we will have your name on the list.

Can I take a friend along to the Society?
Yes, each cardholder can sign in 3 guests at any one time.

Why can't I find the bottle I bought in 1989 on the website?
Due to the nature of our whisky each bottling has only a limited number of bottles in the out turn average of 250.

* Safe Place to Leave Your Parcel
All orders £100 or over must be signed for and cannot be left in a safe place, please provide full address details. If you request that we leave your parcel is in a safe place because there won't be anybody available to sign for, please be aware that this will be done on the understanding that it is at your own risk.
